12 Reasons this is the Final Generation

1. The restoration of Israel to the Land –1948 (Acts 3:21)

Peter told us in Acts 3:21, that Jesus would remain in heaven until the restoration which was promised by all the prophets took place. It is not the restoration of all things as some have suggested, but the restoration of all the things spoken by the prophets. The restoration spoken by the prophets was clearly the restoration of Israel at the end of the age and we have been witnesses to its fulfilling. Thus, Jesus is ready to come from heaven in our generation!

2. Restoration of Jerusalem to Israel –Gentile dominance of Jerusalem ends – 1967 Luke 21

Jesus said that Jerusalem would be destroyed and the Jewish people scattered. This took place in 70AD. Then He said that Jerusalem would be trodden under foot by Gentile rulers until the Jews took it back again. This happened in 1967. He went on to say that those who see this event would be the generation to see all the words of the prophets fulfilled.

3. The History of Gentile Empires Dominating Israel, as revealed to Daniel, is in the final stages. 10 nation alliance – ten toes – ten horns – little horn antichrist – Daniel 2 & 7, Rev 17:12 Revived Roman Empire

The book of Daniel contains major revelation concerning four great Mediterranean Empires that would succeed each other and take over the land of Israel and persecute the Jewish people. The first one was Babylon which existed at the time of the predictions. The second one was the Persian Empire; the third one was Greece and the fourth one was Rome. Then the Bible says that the last one, Rome, would fizzle out and reemerge in a different form, at the end of the age. When Israel Re-emerged as a state in 1948, this last Empire began to emerge and is now known as the EU. It is a revival of the Roman Empire only with completely different character as the prophet promised. This empire will in our generation swallow up Israel with a treaty. Then the Messiah will come.

4. The making of a covenant with Antichrist – peace treaty – “Road Map to Peace” is the hottest item for all the nations – Israel is ready to sign and commit apostasy – Dan 9:27

The Bible says that a world leader will make a treaty between Israel and the nations around about it having to do with the Temple Mount in Jerusalem. Then in the middle of this 7 year treaty he will break his covenant and be revealed as the Antichrist and the Tribulation period will begin. This is the last 3 1⁄2 yearsof the age at the end of which Jesus will come. This “Peace Treaty” is currently a preoccupation of thenations and the war over the Temple Mount has already begun.

5. The gospel of Jesus Christ has been preached to all the nations beginning in Jerusalem –small number of tribes left will be reached within 20 years although not necessary for prophecy to be fulfilled – Mt 24:14

Jesus said that the gospel would be preached to all the nations, as a witness, and then the end will come. He did not say that all the nations would accept the message, but that they would have a witness. This prophecy has been fulfilled in our generation. Some would argue that some small tribes have not yet had the gospel in their language. But even if one holds to that strict an interpretation, the experts tell us that this will be accomplished in as little as twenty years. Thus the end will begin very soon.

6. The advent of Globalism – Global Governance – EU – UN – Banking, Commerce – New Religious Globalists – Rev 13:7, 16-17, 17:1-8

The Book of Revelation tells us that there will be a global government during the time of the Tribulation. Today, as in no other generation, this global government strategy is taking shape. The financial systems are already global and the UN continues to make inroads with treaties of global governance and even global religion.

7. Rise of Anti-Semitism – War on Israel – Radical Islam – Global Terror – All nations believe the problem is Israel & Jerusalem – all nations against Jerusalem – Zech 12:3, 14:2

Anti-Semitism is on the rise around the world again. During the Tribulation the Anti-Christ, like Hitler, will propose another final solution. Jewish people, as well as Christians, will be persecuted the world over. The Scriptures have much to say about this. When Israel is restored to her land, all the nations will come against her. The armies of the nations will be gathered against Jerusalem. This scenario is already beginning.

8. Outpouring of the Holy Spirit upon the church – continued increase of His presence and restoration and revelation – separation of a remnant

God has been filling Christians with the Holy Spirit since the beginning of the church. However, the church was backsliden and lacking the presence and power of the Holy Spirit for many centuries. Revivalbegan in the 1500’s and accelerated greatly in the 20th Century. Today the presence and power of the Sprit are strong in the church once again and much restoration of truth has taken place. This will continue toincrease prior to Christ’s return as a remnant Bride is being prepared for the Bridegroom.

9. Alliance of Gog & Magog – Middle Eastern Muslim nations aligned with Russia as per Ezekiel 38 & 39

The prophet Ezekiel told us that at the end of the age there would be an alliance of Russia, Iran, Iraq, Syria, Ethiopia, Libya and others against Israel. These alliances did not exist at the time and did not come together until the 20th Century. Russia and the US were allies until 1917 and Iran and the US were alliesuntil the late 1970’s. As we speak, many of these nations are fighting together, north of Israel, against theso called rebels that are supported by the US and many other Western nations. At the same time Israel is in

the middle of all this chaos which promises to increase and become a major war in the region. No other generation, since the 1st Century has seen this.

10. Existence of Technology – weaponry – atomic bomb – media – satellite – necessary to fulfill last generation prophecy

The prophecies in the Book of Revelation speak of global events being seen by the whole world at the same time, something that could only be fulfilled by modern technology. Also, much of the armament mentioned (Rev 9) did not exist in any other generation.

11. Rise of Earthquakes – Global issues – ethnic struggles Mt 24:7

Jesus told us that catastrophic events would accompany the end of the age, such as earthquakes, tsunamis, and the like. Though these things have happened many times throughout history, it is clear that they are increasing greatly. Earthquakes have literally gone off the charts in the last few years and those who monitor them are greatly concerned, even though governments try to silence their testimony. Nevertheless, the Lord promised to shake the heavens and the earth at the end of the age and it would appear this shaking has already begun.

12. 7th Millennium to begin in this generation per literal reading of Bible and adding of time –prophecies to be fulfilled in 7th Millennium – Hos 6:1-2 – Third Millennium after 70AD – Luke 13:32 Third Day – The Day of The Lord – Reign of Messiah

The Hebrew prophets spoke of the 6000th year as the beginning of the reign of Messiah. The apostles of the Lord believed this and so did their disciples. And no matter how one reads or interprets the Bible, it presents 6000 years of human history ending in a few short years from now. This fact alone tells us that we are in the last generation and Jesus is coming very soon indeed!
